One wrong letter, zero results
Default search matches text literally. Miss a letter and a shopper with their card out sees an empty page.
snekers → nothing. With eZearch → Sneakers, first hit.
WooCommerce site search
WooCommerce search misses typos, ignores SKUs and buries what's in stock. eZearch replaces it with results in milliseconds — and hands you the dials.
The cost of default search
WooCommerce runs product search through the same query that powers your blog. Here is what that costs you on an ordinary Tuesday.
Default search matches text literally. Miss a letter and a shopper with their card out sees an empty page.
snekers → nothing. With eZearch → Sneakers, first hit.
Repeat buyers and trade customers search by code, size or material. WooCommerce only looks at the title and description.
SKU-22740 → nothing. With eZearch → the exact product.
Nothing in the default query knows about stock, so your best-selling out-of-stock item keeps sitting at the top.
eZearch pushes in-stock products up — and says so on the row.
Setup
No theme edits, no developer, no migration. The plugin talks to our search cloud; your store keeps working the whole time.
From your WordPress admin, like any other plugin. Enter your email and the free licence sets itself up.
Titles, SKUs, attributes, categories, ACF fields and stock go into the index. 1,500 products takes about four seconds.
Your existing search box starts returning instant results, and your theme's results page uses eZearch ranking. Nothing to restyle.

It is a shared playground — someone else may be poking at it too, and it resets now and then. Nothing you do there touches a real shop.
What you get
Built for WooCommerce specifically — variations, attributes, ACF fields and stock status are understood, not guessed at.
Typo-tolerant search in a few milliseconds, even with 100,000 products.
Weight titles, SKUs, attributes, ACF fields and custom fields from 0 to 10.
Pin, hide or redirect any search term, on a schedule.
Semantic search and “red shoes under 50” understood as filters.
See what shoppers search, what returns nothing, and what they buy.
If anything is unavailable your store quietly falls back to WordPress search.
Relevance
Most search tools decide for you. eZearch gives you the weights and gets out of the way — change a number, see the results reorder instantly.
Side by side
Everything below is what WordPress does out of the box against what eZearch does once it's installed.
| Default WooCommerce | eZearch | |
|---|---|---|
| Speed on 50,000 products | Seconds, and it loads your database | Milliseconds, off your server entirely |
| Misspelt query | No results | Corrected, plus "did you mean" |
| Search by SKU | Not searched | Exact match ranks first |
| ACF and custom fields | Ignored | Indexed, weighted and filterable |
| Out-of-stock products | Ranked like anything else | Pushed down, stock shown on the row |
| Control over ranking | None | Field weights, pins, hides and redirects |
| What shoppers searched for | Nothing recorded | Queries, no-result terms, clicks and carts |

Before you ask
Yes. eZearch attaches to the search box your theme already renders and powers your existing results page, so nothing needs restyling. Block themes, page builders and custom headers all work; if your theme uses a search icon instead of a box, you point eZearch at it in one field.
It's measured. On a 12,000-product catalogue the median search completes in 4.4 ms and 95% finish inside 7.7 ms; at 100,000 products that's 9.5 ms median. Those are server timings on a modest 2-core machine — your shopper also pays network latency, which is why the index sits close to them.
Two things. It's built for WooCommerce rather than adapted to it, so variations, attributes, ACF fields and stock status are first-class instead of bolted on. And you control relevance directly — field weights, pins and rules are yours to set, not a black box you file a support ticket against.
Your store keeps selling. If the API is unreachable, your licence lapses or you exceed your plan, eZearch hands search straight back to WordPress. Shoppers get the old results instead of an error page, and you get an email.
The sync indexes as much as your plan covers and finishes cleanly — it never fails halfway. Your dashboard tells you how many products are searchable and what upgrading would cover. Nothing breaks while you decide.
Cancel any time from your account page; there's no contract and no cancellation fee. Your store falls back to WordPress search at the end of the period. If you come back, your licence key, index settings and merchandising rules are still there.
Start on the free plan, sync your catalogue, and watch the no-result searches disappear. Upgrade when your catalogue outgrows it — not before.
100 products and 500 searches a month, free forever. No credit card, no trial countdown.
